Jordan Ensign Karpowitz (BA ’92) is a Brigham Young University graduate in Communications/Public Relations and has spent more than 30 years in a related career. As a marketing communications and public relations professional, she’s worked with a variety of organizations to produce a steady stream of content that communicates their unique position in the market and helps build a brand customers want to engage with.

From both in-house corporate communications and marketing teams, as well as agency and consulting positions, Jordan has worked with clients across a variety of industries. Brands include Adobe, Coursera, Covance, Deloitte Consulting, Duke University, Northwestern Mutual, Novell, Nu Skin, and O.C. Tanner.

She has successfully crafted and pitched stories to media outlets from local news to national business magazines and top broadcast shows. She has produced articles for thought leaders in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and top trade publications, as well as promoted two New York Times best sellers. 

Jordan was raised on a steady diet of travel while living in Germany for many of her formative years. She claims Maryland as her “hometown” state, married a Kansas Jayhawk, completed an internship in Vienna, Austria, raised her older children in New Jersey, and currently lives with her family in Provo. Her husband is a BYU professor and her three oldest children have attended BYU.
