Cognitive and behavioral neuroscience; addiction; pedagogy of science. Dr. Matheson does not currently operate a research lab.
Teaching Interests
Dr. Matheson particularly enjoys the Neuroscience core classes: Neurobiology, Neuroanatomy, and Behavioral Neuroscience courses, as well as adjacent courses such as Sensation and Perception and Cognition. These courses combine scientific rigor with a human context and clinical application.
