Radon Awareness Event

Thursday, January 23
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
HRCB 238

BYU Civic Engagement and the BYU Health Department are hosting Eleanor Divver, Radon Project Coordinator for Utah Department of Environmental Quality.

Learn what radon is, the potential risks it poses, and the resources available to address it — especially if you're a student who finds radon in your living space.

Eleanor Divver is the Radon Project Coordinator for the Department of Environmental Quality in Utah, she was an environmental health scientist for the Salt Lake Valley Health Department, she has a Masters in Public Health from the University of Utah School of Medicine, and she is currently also an adjunct faculty instructor for the University of Utah, and she does a great job spreading the message about radon.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn about a critical public health issue and how you can make a difference.

There will be free radon test kits, first come first served, as well as treats for attending!
