Articles published by the BYU College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences are intended to promote people and experiences in the college. Your article should in some way reflect university messaging.
Accepted articles can cover a variety of topics and be written in a variety of formats. News, spotlights, and event recaps are all of interest. Articles can be written in inverted pyramid style or as a feature, Q&A, personal essay, or listicle. Some formats are more or less appropriate for specific topics. The primary purpose should be to engage and inform, rather than entertain. We've curated a variety of article types and formats for your review.
This is new and we all have questions! Go ahead and ask yours. Feel free to run an idea past us before writing. Simply email Olivia Madera and put "Article Submission" in the subject.
