Judge David Barlow
Judge David Barlow currently serves as a United States District Court Judge. He graduated from Brigham Young University, summa cum laude. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School. He is a recipient of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship and the USA Today All-USA Award.
Judge Barlow spent most of his nearly 20 years in private practice as a partner in law firms in Chicago, Salt Lake City, and Washington D.C. He litigated civil cases in many federal and state courts across the United States, conducted internal investigations in the United States and in many countries in Europe and Asia, and represented companies and individuals in criminal investigations in various jurisdictions. He also was engaged in pro bono practice and received the Pro Bono Advocates Lawyer of the Year Award.
Judge Barlow previously served in other government positions, including being appointed as the United States Attorney General’s Advisory Committee, the leadership team of United States Attorneys. Earlier, Judge Barlow served as General Counsel and Chief Counsel on the Judiciary Committee for United States Senator Mike Lee.
