The Ronald and Nelani Walker Lecture

Find Grand Themes and Grand Topics: The Career and Research Collection of Ronald W. Walker

Ronald W. Walker, a former BYU professor of history, was a towering figure in the research and writing of Latter-day Saint history. Over his long career, he amassed an impressive research collection on topics including pioneer Utah, Brigham Young, and Heber J. Grant. This lecture celebrates the opening of the Ronald W. Walker Papers at Special Collections and will narrate Professor Walker’s career, describe the archival collection, and give a peek into his final project—a co-authored biography of Brigham Young, being finished by Matthew Grow.
