Current trends show that the workforce is slowly, but surely changing as women are 1. Getting married later in life (even at BYU), 2. The most prepared to work because of educational attainment, and 3. Somehow, underprepared for post-graduation and career advancement opportunities. 4 women panelists discuss the decisions they made while juggling life, work, success, and finding fulfillment, and give advice on how women can thrive, by sharing what helped them identify and pursue and be prepared for educational and career opportunities. The following videos feature the diverse group of panelists, including:Dr. Hayley Pierce, Assistant Professor of Sociology at BYU, Christy Taylor, Senior Technical Developer at Nike,Claudia Soto, Master of Sociology student at BYU, and Meilani (Lani) Higgins: non-traditional Family History student at BYU.
